A position for a Community Staff Nurse (RGN) Band 5 has arisen in our integrated Community Nursing Team aligned to the GP practices.
This position is Full Time, Part Time will be considered, Permanent
Working 2 shifts (8-4.30pm & 11.30-8pm) covering a 12 hour rota over a 7 day period
Experience is desirable but not essential as a comprehensive preceptorship programme is provided.

Freshney Pelham Care Ltd is a limited liability company delivering Community Nursing services across the five GP practices that form the Freshney Pelham Federation. We cover around 40,000 patients across Grimsby, Cleethorpes and the adjoining area; employ 22 nurses, 6 Assistant Practitioners and 2 HCA’s and are based at the Freshney Green Primary Care Centre.
We work closely with other providers to deliver high quality nursing care within the community, supporting those with complex needs and enabling our patients to maintain their independence for as long as possible.
We currently have an exciting opportunity in our organisation and are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person with a flexible approach to work within and support our administrative team.
The successful candidate will work within the administrative team and be required to undertake a wide range of duties including:
- Providing administrative support to all staff.
- Proactively communicating information between nursing staff, doctors, and other professionals.
- Recording patient information.
- Ensuring all information is managed correctly, filed and followed up accordingly.
- Dealing with enquiries and queries and providing information to third parties.
This role requires good communication and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise your workload in order to meet deadlines and a good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
The candidate will be required to have English and Maths to GCSE level and an ECDL (or equivalent), and get more information be prepared to undertake any further training and development necessary for the role.
You will often be required to handle work of a confidential nature, therefore it is essential that you have a good understanding of the need for confidentiality within the workplace.
